As an example, early actuators had torque switches which tripped after the valve had an internal failure which caused it to require more force than originally designed for. The more recent smart actuators have an internal data logger inside which has had the ability to monitor torque output.

Abstract: A photocatalytic device comprising Manganese dioxide and Titanium dioxide coated housing, an ultraviolet light source disposed therein, and a plurality of multi-metallic photocatalytic structures, such as hydrated multi-metallic catalyst substrates, is adapted to be deployed in conjunction with the exchange air intake of a mini-split system. The photocatalytic device has (a) Manganese dioxide and Titanium dioxide coated reflector(s) that is/are positioned to reflect ultraviolet light onto the photocatalytic structures. The photocatalytic device may have at least one carbon fiber and/or needle type ionizer disposed in the housing. The photocatalytic device may also have at least one sensor and may be wirelessly coupled to a computing device or controller.

The mineralogy suggested that the majority of the gold is fine in the Saramacca ore, and this is confirmed during the size by size analysis of gold in the whole ore leach tails which also suggests that most of the gold in the cyanidation tailings were in the -38 μm fraction (see Table 13-22). For that reason, the effect of finer grinding on the gold recovery of whole ore in variability samples VT025 and VT029 was investigated to evaluate the opportunity to increase the gold recovery in the refractory portion of the ore. Waste lines from sewage ejectors and sump pumps include a check valve to stop wastewater from flowing back into the basin. When these valves shut, they can make a thud loud enough to be heard throughout the house. To quiet them, replace the old check valve with a “silent” check valve. Turn off the pump and loosen the clamps to remove the existing check valve. Be prepared for the water draining down from above the valve. Install the new valve and you’re done.

Average cut-off grades for Saramacca are 0.25 g/t Au for laterite and saprolite, 0.30 g/t Au for transition material, and 0.50 g/t Au for fresh rock material.
