An inventory of trees to be cut is completed before any earthwork is initiated. Once access and pads are completed, a pre-drilling inspection is signed off for every borehole by a representative from IAMGOLD-RGM and a Major Drilling foreman. When approved, IAMGOLD’s technicians install three front sights for the rig to align along the planned azimuth. The drill rig is mobilized to the pad under the supervision of a Major Drilling foreman, and alignment is done under the supervision of IAMGOLD-RGM technicians. Once the rig is set up, the inclination of the mast is measured by a clinometer and drilling can commence.

The rubber plug is rotated by water movement and the closing action against the seat. The rotation seats the ball on a different spot during each cycle, ensuring long part life. The rotating action also cleans the valve seat as it closes. The stainless steel stem resists corrosion, and the three O-rings ensure a leakproof seal.

Abstract: In an example, there is disclosed a security architecture for enhanced, non-invasive whitelisting of executable objects. When an executable object tries to perform an action, a security engine seamlessly intercepts the action and determines whether the action is whitelisted, blacklisted, or graylisted, assigning the action a corresponding security score. Whitelisted actions may be allowed, blacklisted actions may be disallowed, and graylisted actions may require additional verification from a user. Because the score is assigned to the combination of the executable object and the action, false positives may be avoided, such as those that may occur when an executable object is prefetched but has not yet tried to perform any useful work.

Abstract: An infrared image and/or a video of one or more residents of a controlled-environment facility is captured using an imaging device of a controlled-environment facility resident communication and/or media device disposed within the controlled-environment facility when the device is not being used in a communication session. The imaging device of the controlled-environment facility resident communication and/or media device is capable of operation with an infrared light source. The infrared image or video may be stored and/or presented to an entity associated with the controlled-environment facility, such as personnel of the facility, a facility administration system, etc. Capturing the image may include turning on at least one infrared light source on the device and/or turning off any indication that the capturing is taking place. The device may be located in a resident sleeping area and a bed check may be performed by the entity or device, using the infrared image.

RGM has prepared a stand-alone Mine Closure Plan (MCP) that is periodically updated as per internal requirements. In addition, the RGM environmental department works closely with the finance department to generate RGM’s annual Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO) cost estimate that is required for accounting purposes. The most recent closure plan update was completed in August 2018.

[H04M] TELEPHONIC COMMUNICATION (circuits for controlling other apparatus via a telephone cable and not involving telephone switching apparatus G08)

In 2017 I co-authored a technical report for the Saramacca gold project. Since then, I have provided ongoing intermittent geostatistical and Mineral Resource modelling support to IAMGOLD Corporation for the Saramacca Concession.

Abstract: A method for communicating in a wireless communications system includes receiving a first frame including a paging bitmap and a timing offset indicator, determining whether the station is permitted to transmit a packet according to the paging bitmap, and when the station is permitted to transmit the packet, determine a location of a network resource in accordance with a station identifier and the timing offset indicator, and transmitting, by the station, the packet in accordance with the location of the network resource.

SRK conducted pit slope geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations comprising 12 diamond drill holes, testing, and instrumentation installations. The field investigation work was supported with a full geotechnical review of exploration diamond core to evaluate the rock mass quality and deposit structural geology. A 3D structural geological model was developed with the field investigation and core review results.

The back-up samples are tied, sorted in sequence with the sample bag opening folded down, covered with a tarpaulin, and left on the drill pad. Once assay results are received and quality assurance and quality control procedures are completed, the decision can be made to store or discard the back-up samples.

The Gross Rosebel concession (RGM concession) (Geological Mining Department (GMD) No. 468/02) covers an area of 170.0 km² in the north central part of the Republic of Suriname at a latitude of 5° 25’ North and a longitude of 55° 10’ West. The RGM concession lies in the district of Brokopondo, between the Suriname River to the east and the Saramacca River to the west, approximately 80 km south of the capital city of Paramaribo (Figure 4-1).
