Metric PVC Swing Check Valve
These check valves use gravity and back pressure from fluid to close them rather than relying on a spring or other mechanism. This has two advantages; firstly it makes them far less likely to block and secondly they allow a smooth flow through, which results in less pressure / head loss.
Our PVC swing check valves have stainless steel bolts which when removed, allow the valve to be split and the seals checked or replaced.
A swing check valve allows flow in one direction and automatically prevents back flow when fluid in the line reverses direction.
